St Michael's Pool COVID-19 Operating Procedure
COVID Safety
In line with Swim England and government guidelines, here are the extra measures in place:

You may only use the pool with people you live with or formed a support bubble with

Extra daily sanitising of commonly touched surfaces

15 minute break between slots to ensure social distancing

Windows open at all times to ensure ventilation

Sanitising facilities for hands on entry

Sanitising equipment for surface cleaning on entry and exit

BEFORE LEAVING HOME
-
Do not come to the facility if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 (temperature, cough, difficulty breathing, or anosmia e.g. loss of taste or smell).

If you are high risk or shielding, please follow the medical guidance issued at all times.

Arrive ready to swim with swimwear underneath robes or clothing.

Shower at home to help us maintain the water quality. There are no showers at St Michael's Pool.

Take hand sanitiser with you.

Take any equipment/aids with you (floats, kick boards etc.) ensuring it is clean and identifiable as yours before you arrive.

Bring your own bag in which to store personal belongings.

Remember your booking details with the new gate combination code!
BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Wait in the car park until your allotted time.

Do not enter the pool complex (through the combination gate) if anybody else is inside the pool complex.
ON ENTRY

Bring as few personal belongings as possible

Use hand sanitiser/wash stations wherever made available.

Report anybody who is inside the pool complex outside their allotted time to info@stmichaelspool.org

Clean handrails with sanitary equipment provided.
FINISHING
-
Leave the pool complex by the end of your allotted time.

Once you have finished your swim, leave the venue as soon as you can.

Shower when you return home.
