"Our mission is to operate a self-sustaining swimming pool that serves the children of St Michael's School and the surrounding community. We are committed to providing affordable access to safe and high-quality swimming facilities, with the primary goal of teaching water confidence and swimming skills to as many children as possible. Through our facilities, we aim to instil a lifelong love of swimming and promote the importance of water safety. We believe that by teaching children to swim, we are helping to save lives and foster a healthier community."

POOL FOR ALL

So happy to have found this lovely pool. We’ve booked a few times now and it’s always been clean and tidy. Very simple to book online and great customer service. Will come again next time we’re in the area 😊

ABOUT US

St. Michael's PTA is a charitable organisation, registered in England and Wales. Charity number 1121725.

The community swimming pool is based on the premises of St. Michael's Church of England First School.

During school holidays we can have over 300 pool availabilities. All bookings can be made and managed via our website.

There's a comprehensive Help Page if you have any issues. Please be as self-sufficient as possible as we are a small team of hard working volunteers!

The pool is entirely run volunteers and we are always looking for new motivated and proactive individuals to join our team! People with a variety of skills from maintenance, fundraising, marketing or just a desire to help are all welcomed!

All the money raised from pool bookings is used for the maintenance and improvement of the pool and for community children swimming lessons.

If you or your children have benefited from free school swimming lessons, or after school lessons, fitness classes or being able to hire the pool for parties or during the holidays, please consider giving even a small amount to our fundraising efforts, and together as a community hopefully we can keep our pool operating without having to increase prices.
